My name is Don Barnes, president of PeaceFrog Productions, and I started this company with one primary objective in mind: to offer a fast, easy, free service that matches people in need of web site development services with a reputable, professional, local web site developer perfectly suited to them and their project. Prior to starting PeaceFrog Productions My career in this industry began as an HTML programmer and interface designer for Inlink Communications, St. Louis' first locally-owned ISP, in 1998. In 2000 I was fortunate enough to be part of the team that helped create GTW.NET, the Internet subsidiary of Software Plus. I served as their Assistant Director of Web Development and Senior Team Leader from 2000 to 2003, and in those years my teams' efforts were recognized with industry awards for best retail site, best wireless site, best community site, best real estate site, best B2B site, best professional services site and best St. Louis-oriented site. Prior to entering web development, I served in the military as a combat engineer, earned a degree in Creative Writing from UMSL, and worked in publishing as a writer, editor, production artist and project manager.
